Hello, I am a third year student at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I study Biology and I am on the pre-dental path. My dream is to one day be a dentist and have my own practice. I hope my career can one day allow me to hold out a helping hand to many people in need of dentistry . I am passionate about helping people, and I am part of Global Brigades because I want to grow as a future health care provider . I am excited to go on my first brigade this year to Nicaragua where I will get to practice speaking Spanish with patients and learn more about the culture.

Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
