I am passionate about serving my God and the people around me in whatever way possible in everyday life. More specifically, I want to utilize my talents and gifts in a way that will best serve the most people. A combination of my innate love for service to people in extreme need and my desire to work toward global equality is part of what has lead me to want to pursue a career in medicine with the hope of practicing internationally in the Spanish-speaking world.

The three Global Brigades Institutes function as the educational arms of the organization. Their purpose is to: (1) improve the preparation of volunteers to make a difference while working abroad, (2) develop our members' profesional experience to make them competitive applicants in the fields of International Development and Global Health, and (3) improve access to higher education in the countries Global Brigades supports.
