Growing up with parents who had immigrated from a third world country has allowed me insight into how things were in some countries. Now that I am older, I would like to help as much as I can however I can. While there are many different opportunities in the States, being able to be a part of VAW allows me to combine my desire to be a part of something bigger than me with my desire to explore beyond the States.
