Women's Empowerment Initiatives

On February 7th, GB Honduras hosted the first ever women's conference. Over 60 female leaders from 9 different communities where we work came together to share and learn about women's health, communication and leadership, personal budgeting, and beauty empowerment. The day was a huge success and we received very positive feedback from the women.

We want to continue doing women's conferences in the future. The next conference will be in the Fall of 2014. We will need to continue fundraising to make this event happen annually, which includes providing transportation and drivers for the women to a centralized location, food, and materials. Please continue supporting the empowerment of women from rural Honduran communities.
