Open Exchange to Panama (July 15-22, 2018)

blakelee's Message

I am so excited to have the opportunity to use movement not only as a driving force of communication, self acceptance, and growth, but also change! By teaching and choreographing for children in Panama I will be able to spread the internal benefits that dance gives us each day. I am taking this program as a learning experience and also a gift to impact others, experience different cultures, and begin my first little dive into making this world value and respect movement more and all of its possibilities.

Volunteer Activity Description

Welcome to Panama! Movement Exchange is organizing its 9th annual open international dance exchange to Panama this summer from July 15-22, 2018. This 8-day exchange will be full of dancing, learning, growing, discovering, and connection. Dancers from all over the U.S. will teach youth, learn traditional dances, and perform with Panamanian dancers and artists. They will also be choreographing for and performing in our 9th annual show, starring 70+ youth in Panama. Support our dance diplomats who will be traveling to Panama this summer and MOVE TO CHANGE!
