Hello, friends and family!

For all my life, I wanted to do something with my life that would benefit others. After many career ideas from being a vet to a doctor, I began to consider dentistry in 5th grade, when I got braces. Even though I dreaded the dentist every 6 months, I thought the profession was so interesting. As I got older, I realized the great need for oral health. Although the mouth is such a small part of our body, it has a big impact on our overall health. Without healthy teeth, we can't carry out our daily routine properly.

I was also heavily involved in my church growing up, and I loved doing missions as well! I looked up to the doctors in my church who would use their professions to go to other countries, help out the underserved, and spread God's word as well.

When I came to OSU, I heard about this club, and was immediately drawn to it. This trip would give me the opportunity to not only shadow dentists, explore a new country, but see the physical application of how my future profession could be used to serve others.

For this trip, I need to raise $1,850. If you are able to support me financially, I would be beyond grateful. If you aren't able to, but would like to be updated on my trip, feel free to reach out to me, and I would be more than willing to share my experiences with you! Although this isn't a religious organization, prayers would be amazing as well :)
