Passionate About:

I am a 4th year Chemical Engineering Major and Business Minor at the University of Virginia. In my free time I enjoy sailing and hiking. I am currently in the COMM Managing Sustainability in Developing Nations course and have been becoming increasingly interested in aid towards Sub-Saharan Africa. I am writing my thesis on industrial production of a new malaria vaccine, RTS,S, and analyzing the feasibility of and inhibitions surrounding disease eradication. Additionally, I will be applying to Medical School this summer. With these three factors in mind, I think that observing, interacting, and working at the local level will be the perfect experience and complement of my education. Of course I want to help better the lives of the citizens in Ghana as well.
