I will be doing an internship with other NC State students through VAW Global Health Alliances, where I will get veterinary experience in Peru. The trip will consist of getting clinical experience, experience with exotic animals at a sanctuary, and watching surgery rotations. A big part as well is immersion in the culture through having a host family and traveling around Cusco Peru on our off times.
