On May 13 2013, I'll be traveling to Honduras with four other students from the University of Illinois as volunteers for an organization called Global Brigades. Global Brigades is the world's largest student-led health and sustainable development organization, and each year mobilizes thousands of university students around the world to participate in 9 different skills-based programs to improve the quality of life in under-resourced communities.
I am with the "Water" program of Global Brigades, and will be working on projects to improve access to clean water in rural Honduran communities.

The bottom line is, I linked you to this page to ask for your help in funding our brigade. Each of us going have a personal fundraising target of $1500 and we're accepting donations of ANY size. The Honduran water situation is dire, and any support you can give will help us make a difference.
