Water Brigade volunteers work with professional engineers to design clean water systems that bring water directly into the homes of rural communities in Honduras. Each water system is broken into week-long projects that volunteers implement alongside community members. After several brigades, a community is able to celebrate the creation of a complete water system, which helps to prevent communicable illnesses in communities and contribute to the improvement of the overall health of the members of the community.
