When I was in 8th grade I read a book called Mountains Beyond Mountains, by Paul Farmer. At the time, I had no idea that the insight that the book gave me about helping others and providing medial care would lead me to where I hope to be on May 23rd: in Hondoras. Paul Framer found his passion helping people in other countries that do not have the same access to medical care that we have here in the US. I have been accepted to participate in a medical brigade to Hondoras in May. It might be a small step but I am hoping to make a little difference in someone's life by participating in this brigade.
