I am passionate about making dance accessible and using dance as a form of communication; so much can be said through movement that is unable to be said in words. Dance can provide outlets for emotion as well as create lasting bonds through the shared experiences.
My fundraising efforts will aid in offsetting the costs of my participation in an exchange in Panama through the national organization of Movement Exchange. Movement Exchange has three year-round locally staffed dance programs at orphanages in Panama, and is at two-at-risk youth centers in India. The funds raised will also go towards these wonderful international programs.
