I am incredibly lucky to be able to head to Nepal this September to volunteer with Conscious Impact! I have been spending the last year living and working in Qatar. Qatar is not only my home at the time, but also the home of a huge population of Nepali people, many of whom have not been able to go back to their homes and families. Teaching in Qatar gives me the unique opportunity to travel widely and I have chosen to spend my first break of the school year in Nepal helping in the rebuild after the horrific earthquake. My hope is that when people are able to return home, there will be homes for them to return to. Conscious Impact focuses on building long term sustainable homes in rural villages. Donations made will go towards building supplies as well as my food and shelter for the week that I am there. I appreciate all the support!
