I am passionate about making some sort of impact in my home, community, and now the world. I have always had a love of mission trips because they give me the opportunity to actually make a difference in someone's life that I never would have met without going through that experience. My hope for these next years of my life is that I will be able to use my love of medicine, nursing, and people to help others who need it the most.

GMT at University of Tennessee, Knoxville is an official affiliate of Global Medical Training, an international humanitarian organization that provides free medical and dental services to medically deprived communities throughout Central America. A prime corollary is offering healthcare students (at all levels) an eye-opening experience that will expand their understanding of medicine/dentistry and life outside of North America.
