Hi everyone! This May, I will have the opportunity to participate in a medical brigade to Honduras through One World Surgery. My mom is a nurse at the Mayo Clinic and was able to sponsor me as a volunteer. One World Surgery center is located on an orphanage called Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos. I will have the opportunity to help not only with surgeries but also with helping the Pequeños and around the orphanage. Many of these orphans are given a fresh start at the orphanage after they have been sent there due to unfortunate circumstances such as gangs, drug use, and poverty. Every year, we are asked to collect donations for whatever needs are greatest. This year we have the opportunity to assist the needs of other college men and women like ourselves. These men and women have shown a desire for education to better themselves and their communities. These men and women are former orphans who are sponsored by Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos to continue their education. This page is for my own fundraising through One World Surgery that would help with my volunteer fee and plane ticket. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you choose to make a donation through my link, once you make the donation you would immediately receive a tax receipt from your donation.
