Hello Everyone!! My name is Shannell and I am the current Co-President of Movement Exchange at UC San Diego. As a second year transfer and graduating senior, the exchange I will take part in this summer will be the perfect send-off for me! I have lead over 100 hours of dance classes in the San Diego community, as well as taught dance classes on an exchange to Tijuana, Mexico called Dance by the Border! This summer, I will be traveling to both Panama City, Panama and Río de Janeiro, Brazil to take part in the open dance exchange with the national Movement Exchange! I will spend 8 days in Panama and 10 days in Brazil dancing, volunteering, and most importantly LEARNING FROM AND ENGAGING WITH THE COMMUNITY.
