Sustenance, clothing, and shelter: Dance didn’t make it through the cut to be a survival essential. It never did, and it never will.
People need clean water and nutrition, sanitary clothing, and safe refuge to stay alive. And there are thousands of organizations to do just that. But what happens after they get to stay alive?
They’ve survived the calamity or they’ve been rescued. But who’s going to teach them to embrace smudges engraved deep into their mind as a design, and to stand tall on their feet? And be confident?

Dance, in my opinion, not only speaks for but also nurtures souls.
Dancers learn not only to do certain moves but also the attitude behind them- Confident, sincere, jealous, honest, loving, dope.

And I, as a member of Movement Exchange, wish to introduce such changes.
This is where I ask for help. $1350 may not be a lot for some of you guys, but to me, who is working part-time to pay off tuition, it is a scary amount.
