Hi everyone , my Name is Yvette Neri.

I am trying to raise money to participate in a volunteer program through Sac State (Volunteers Around the World - Medical Outreach in Peru) and become the best nurse I can be while serving the community and the less fortunate.

I currently work in the medical field at a local hospital in sacramento. I am also continuing my education and persuing my Degree in Nursing. While working in the hospital I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of great people, however, I realized how much financial and supportive help the community from foreign countries need.

The money that I raise will not only help pay for the required volunteer trip contribution, but it will also assist the community with medical supplies and medication for the services we will be providing.

This opportunity means a lot to me, not only for the medical experience I will be obtaining for my major in the Univeristy, but also for the help these less fortunate people will receive. I identified that people don't obtain the medical services they need soley on the basis of financial harship, as to them is a matter of survival. I am beyond greatful to have this opportunity to attend this volunteer program and render my services to the community in need.
