Natalia Khosla
New Haven, CTPassionate About:
My main passion is studying barriers to health in marginalized or minority groups, particularly Asian Americans and Asian American women. An aspiring physician, I have a great deal of experience shadowing doctors in hospital systems across the U.S., and this summer I interned with a medical fundraising start-up to gain exposure to the financial aspect of healthcare. However, I would like to expand my knowledge of healthcare now to economic/political policy and the impact of microfinance on a broader scale. I have started this pursuit by commenting on U.S. healthcare legislation through the Yale Journal of Medicine and Law, but I think hands-on experience is necessary. Global Brigades is making that possible, but I need your help!
I am also a dancer and I love to ski.
