VAW Hospital internship in the Dominican Republic 2016, Medication & Supply Hospital Fund

Hospital Docente Universitario Dr. Dario Contreras is a public trauma hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The hospital is underfunded and is always seeking donations, both monetary and goods, to ensure that they can provide all of the necessary services to their patients. Additionally, the hospital sponsors patients for surgeries when they're not able to fund themselves. Furthermore, the hospital participates in community outreach, such as providing free mobile clinics and building houses. VAW and VAW volunteers partner with the hospital to raise funds of all of these projects.
