I'm passionate about my career as an optometrist. I love being able to help underserved communities. I enjoyed learning Spanish as I did with my clinical rotations in community clinics. During my optometric training I spent my time after school volunteering at different free eye clinics in the community. My medical mission trip to Jamaica was an amazing experience and was a good reminder on why I decided to go to school to do what I do.
