Volunteers Around the World-Medical Outreach provides patients with the opportunity to have a consultation with a doctor and receive medications, all free of charge. In 2015, VAW treated over 30,000 patients and we aspire to treat over 50,000 in 2016. One of the things that make our mobile clinics unique is that we not only triage and diagnose patients, but also provide them with the basic medications needed. All medications are purchased with money fundraised by VAW chapters and VAW Global.

Here are some examples of what your donation can purchase:
$10 can provide enough amoxicillin capsules to treat a patient with a bacterial infection
$50 can provide a child with vitamins for one year
$100 can provide a patient with high blood pressure their medication for six months
$300 can provide 200 bottles of Children's Acetaminophen for colds and flus
$800 can stock a VAW mobile pharmacy for one day
