Nestor lives in a community that few people know, even Hondurans, it is located approximately 3 hours away from Tegucigalpa. It’s no easy to get there without help from people who live in the community, there are a lot of mountains and pine trees, it has a truly beautiful view; but it’s a very poor community, it has many habitants, but they have difficult access to health care units.
He was referred from GB Staff that works in monitoring & evaluation, meanwhile they were working with community volunteers they got the chance to meet Nestor, he is a 19-year-old guy who was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis at age 9; since then he’s been struggling due to pain and walking limitations. We can´t cure his arthritis but we want to help him get medication for this condition which is going to control or ease his pain.

On March 29, 2017, Nestor received his medications from an anonymous donor.
