World Water Day 2013 - GHANA

University Chapters of Global Brigades around the world will celebrate World Water Day this year by making a difference. Help support the rural communities in Ghana and Honduras by donating directly to the Water Program rainwater harvesting and pump and well project funds. Read below to learn more about each country\\\'s specific needs.

The cleanest source of water available to communities in Ghana, is rainwater. However in the dry season, this source of water is gone, giving families no choice but to go to contaminated sources like rivers and stagnant ponds. With your donation, you can provide a household rainwater harvestor to a family, allowing them to store water that will last them the whole year.
